Sweet Mary

Just picked up the new cards for this month's Craft&Design Market at Hawthorne coffee shop in Havelock North. Double click (maybe a double click) on the above photo and you should be able to read the list of stall holders who will be there including myself of course and my friend Nic from Coulter and Coulter. It will be the first public outing for the beautiful products that Nic and her husband produce. Fe of Global Piece organises this event and although this is only the second market it promises to be a "must do" village experience.

Just found out about this art and craft market that has started up in Havelock North on the 2nd Saturday of the month - next one on the 14th May. I am hoping to run a Sweet Mary stall there in June.

Something to brighten any day! Margaret at Janeff Bookshop in Havelock North knits and sells the most amazing tea cosies. You can buy one readymade from the eye catching window display or order from the book.

I went to a fabric sale this morning in the Havelock North Community Centre - its on tomorrow too from 10a.m. There are many rolls of beautiful fabric including the very pretty Amy Butler ones below.
